If it’s North African food you’re after, head to Bazar in the middle of the Albert Cuyp Market. It’s a bit of an Amsterdam institution – huge plates, wonderful interior (high ceilings, upper gallery and masses of tiling) and the freshest orange juice in town. Bazar features in lots of tourist guides, they are super kid-friendly and you should find some locals there too.
