As we usually stay with family and friends we tend not to be the hotel experts. However, there is at least one we can highly recommend and that’s the College Hotel. Based in a stunning 19th Century brick building, it’s cosy, beautiful, atmospheric and run by students learning hotel management. The very important Dutch word “gezellig” can be completely understood after spending some time in this wonderful place. We had our engagement party here, and we absolutely love it. We’ve also been lucky enough to stay the night a couple of times, but we’re happy even just to come for tea as there’s something so special about it.
