UPDATE: George No 5 at Zandvoort has now sadly closed however it has become Bernie’s Beach Bar and it looks like they’ve kept the decor, the pools, the vibe and the food. Hoping to check it out soon.
If you’re looking for more of George, they’ve added a new location along the Amstel River to their other central Amsterdam properties. We will definitely miss the Zandvoort branch though – watch out Bernie’s, we’ll see you soon.
George No 5 in the George restaurant group is the “Nikki Beach” of The Netherlands. Sitting between Zandvoort and Bloemendaal it has a reputation for attracting beautiful people with money to burn. With two pools, a cool restaurant and a hip vibe, its another great place to head on a sunny day (though don’t expect to have it all to yourself!)
